Little breakdown of brief.

  • Analysis of the brands Ann Taylor & Loft - Consumers, Campaigns, How they communicate to consumers, Brand identity - how do they see themselves, and how do consumers see them
  •  
  •  Analysis of potential competitors in the UK - Perceptual Maps, maybe in the questionnaire ask consumers who they see as competitors.  
  •  
  •  UK consumer profiles/segments for both brands - Look at competitors consumers in the UK, do a profile on them?
  •  
  • Our idea etc

Research document

  • US brands that have entered UK, two examples... One that has worked (full analysis, what did they do... why did it work. Look at campaigns, how they communicate to audience etc)  One that hasn't worked... why didn't it etc
  •  
  • Social media (facebook, blog, twitter, linkedin) 
  •  
  • Look at Ann Incs campaigns - would they work in UK/wouldn't they... why.
